I think this is Elysia amakusana Baba, 1955 . [Sagami Bay Supplement], which Baba introduced as a 'new name' for the animal figured on Plate 9, fig 27. in Baba, 1949 [Opisthobranchs of Sagami Bay] as Elysia japonica but which is not Eliot's Elysia japonica.

The painting shows brownish mottling on the parapodia and blue on the upper half of the rhinophores and a dark mark at the posterior tip of the body - very like the photo in 19 Feb 2000 message below. Also in the painting there are whitish papillae over parapodia.
