Another species of Limenandra from Kerama Is?

August 19, 1999
From: Atsushi Ono

Dear Bill,

This species was identified as L. nodosa in my book. I referred to Debelius's book. I have seen several individuals this species (20-50mm long),
I think these are another species. What do you think?

Sincerely,

Dear Atsushi,
I think you are probably right. It certainly looks like Limenandra but the colour pattern and the double rows in each postpericardial ceratal cluster are much more widely spaced than in Limenandra nodosa. But we would need some specimens to look at the anatomy.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
