Hi Bruce,
Your unknown dorid [#12709] is definitely Hallaxa chani, owing to its translucent tan color, subcutaneous maculations on either side of the hepatic region, maroon-tipped rhinophores and circle of unipinnate gills.
Please note that this a range extension south from San Luis Obispo County.

Way to go, Bruce!
Best,
Jeff
