Dear Dr Rudman,

Here is another species I saw on the Galapagos Islands, July 1999. Hoping you may be able to ID it for me,
Thanks,
Barbara Harvey.

Dear Barbara,
From its shape and colour I suspect this is either a species of Discodoris or Platydoris. The only related species reported from the Galapagos Ids is Platydoris carolynae Mulliner & Sphon 1974, which was said to be quite common at various localities.

As a guess, and I repeat, a guess, I would say that this is Platydoris carolynae

Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
