Dear Bill
Jeff Rosenfeld's Armina sp. is listed as Armina japonica (Eliot, 1913) in Opisthobranchs of Izu Peninsula by Suzuki Keiu.
Cheers,

Thanks Mike,
The only problem is that Armina japonica (Eliot, 1913) was originally described as a black animal with yellow lined ridges. And it had a purplish foot and head shield both edged in yellow. A subsequent description (Baba, 1949) confirms Eliot's external features which suggests that Suzuki Keiu's identification is incorrect. I guess i will have to resort to a number for the time being - Armina sp. 6.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman
