Hi Bill

The attached image is of Janolus mokohinau taken at the Poor Knights Islands, NZ, in about 15 m depth. The slug was found moving very quickly (for a nudibranch) over a large grey sponge (as photographed).

This photo was taken by Shaun Cartwright, s_cartwright@hotmail.com. He has given me his permission for you to use the photo in your site.

Regards,
Ian

Thanks very much Ian. I look forward to posting some more of your images from Skip's Underwater Image Gallery. For those of you who haven't had a look, Ian's site, which includes New Zealand fish and invertebrates, is well worth a visit.
