Hypselodoris sp? from Sulawesi

February 23, 1999
From: Lindsay Warren

Dear Bill,
Here is a sketch made by volunteers, as a photo is not available. The animal was found in the Tukang Besi Islands of SE Sulawesi, Indonesia, as part of the Operation Wallacea project

5-6mm in length.  Found on dead branching Acropora. Mantle has a distinct white rim followed by a lemon-lime green tinted band and largely transparent central notum with orange-pink tint coming through from inside the animal.  Retractile lamellate rhinophores.  5 simple transparent branches to branchial plume.

SKETCH: Rob Saunders

Best wishes,
Lindsay Warren.

Lindsay,
I think I'll leave this one for general discussion. Any one with any ideas?
Bill Rudman.
