Trapania? sp. from Sulawesi.

Dear Bill

Many thanks for the speedy turnaround on the last batch of opisthobranchs from the Tukang Besi Islands. [Sulawesi, Indonesia - Operation Wallacea]. I thought it might be helpful if I sent you the illustration of the animal you suggest might be a Trapania.  As you will see from the details, this looks unlikely.  One thought was that it might be related in some way to Notodoris because of the protective lobes immediately in front and to the side of the gills.  I hope this helps in getting closer to an ID.  The illustration is by Richard Smith.

Thanks Lindsay,
Yes it's not a Trapania but its probably a goniodorid. Some specimens would help if that's possible. At this stage that's all I can say.
