For those of you familiar with Egidio Trainito's Mediterranean Harlequins - A field guide to Mediterranean Sea Slugs, this is a more compact, Italian language edition, of the same book, with some updating of identifications and the adittion of some new material. Although the photographs are a little smaller, the attarction of Egidio's books are the beautiful colour photography, which for probably the first time give us an understanding of the beauty and diversity of this long-studied fauna. As Egidio Trainito showed us in his earlier book with Aplysia dactylomela, there are still new discoveries to be made even in the Mediterranean.
