This has similarities to C. hintuanensis but as discussed below there are significant colour differences. Also this species flaps its mantle in quite a different way. C. hintuanensis is one of quite a number of species which flap the front of their mantle up and down as they crawl along while this species lifts the whole of the mantle edge at the same time [See Mantle Flapping Page].Authorship details
