Some authors consider Platydoris maculata Bouchet, 1977 and Platydoris stomascuta Bouchet, 1977 to belong the genus Baptodoris [see message #2809], and Dorgan, Valdes & Gosliner (2002) suggest that it is almost certainly a synonym of Baptodoris cinnabarina Bergh, 1884.
