Concerning message #19246:

Dear Bill,

We found four specimens of this maybe "Halgerda cf willeyi"??. The yellow coloration of the ridge is sometimes very pale, but the markings on the underside of the mantle are always present .. It seems very different from H. okinawa...

Locality: Reunion Island, Indian Ocean. Photographer: Philibert Bidgrain & Sebastien Pomarede.

I send you photos of two different specimens

Best regards

Dear Philibert,
I would agree that linking it to H. okinawa was a bit desperate of me. I think it deserves a page of its own. I have called it Halgerda sp. 8.

Best wishes,
Bill Rudman
