Polycera janjukia from Tasmania

April 18, 2000
From: Nerida Wilson

Dear Bill,

This is a species that I found at Bicheno and Point Puer, in Tasmania, Australia.

13 February 2000
10-15m depth
10-15mm long

Both dives were typical temperate rocky reefs. Do you know what it might be?

Nerida Wilson.

Dear Nerida,
This is Polycera janjukia. If you look carefully in your photo, the 'weed' it is crawling on is an arborescent bryozoan on which it probably feeds.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
