Anne DuPont described the First Edition of this book as 'the best ID book for Atlantic and Caribbean nudibranchs'. This excellent upgrade carries on the tradition, and covers examples of most invertebrate groups likely to be encountered in the Caribbean. Gathering the necessary information and seeking advice from experts worldwide must have been an exhausting, and trying task. I can only comment on the opisthobranch section. 54 species are illustrated [pages 286-325] and the authors have included the little information we know on their distribution and biology. There are a few misidentifications but that is hardly surprising when the experts are still not sure on many of the western Atlantic species.

Very much in the same format as the First Edition, this is an invaluable guide to anyone interested in the fauna.
