Halgerda? from Kerama Island

March 3, 2000
From: Atsushi Ono

Dear Bill,
Thank you for Costasiella? sp. 2.. And thank you, Clay Carlson & Patty Jo Hoff.

I attach a Halgerda species. I think this is juvenile individual. I found this at 5m depth on coral rubble. [at Kerama Is. near Okinawa]. The size is 5mm long.

This is very rare species, I have seen only a
single individual.

Could you help me to identify this?

Sincerely,
Atsushi Ono

Dear Atsushi,
Now that we have Halgerda experts I think I will wait for their opinion. It's not something I recognise.

Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
