Spurilla? sp. 1.

Order: NUDIBRANCHIA
Suborder: AEOLIDINA
Family: Aeolidiidae

PHOTO

Miura Peninsula, Japan. Length 20mm. Eats sea anemones. PHOTO: Satoru Hori.

It looks very like a species of Spurilla and almost identical to Constantine Mifsud's photo of Spurilla neapolitana from the Mediterranean.

This species has been identified as Spurilla chromosoma and messages about Japanese animals transferred to that page.
