May 2, 1999
From: Rie Nakano

Dear Bill,

Here is another of Mr Atsushi Ono 's images from Kerama Island, near Okinawa which you offered to identify for us.

It was found on coral rubble, Depth: 5m, Length: 30mm.

Dear Rie,
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with this animal. The long tapering papillae on the dorsum remind me of Sclerodoris apiculata but the dorsum seems to have too many other papillae or tubercles for that species.

Perhaps someone will recognise it and let us know.

Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
