Concerning message #14813:

Hi Bill and everyone!
Here is a record of Volvatella angeliniana from the Sunshine Coast. It also gave off a milky substance when disturbed. This could be another record for Australia.

Locality: Old Woman Island, Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, 8 m, Queensland, Australia, Pacific Ocean, 23 December 2006, Subtidal. Length: 5 mm. Photographer: Gary Cobb.

Cheers

Dear Gary,

Julie Marshall and I have both found it at Heron Island [message #14816], but it's always good to get another record of this relatively unknown species

Best wishes,
