Proceedings of Menfi Workshop, 1999

September 3, 2001
From: Juan Lucas Cervera

Dear Bill,
A few weeks ago part of the contributions presented during the 2nd International Workshop of Malacology in Menfi (Italy) (1999) with the topic "Systematics, Phylogeny and Biology of Opisthobranchs Molluscs" was published as Vol 37(5-8) of Bollettino Malacologico.

This issue includes 12 papers (Fahey & Gosliner; Cattaneo-Vietti, Schiapparelli & Chiantore; Jensen; Brodie; Todd, Lambert & Davies; Oliverio & Tringali; Johnson & Gosliner; Tringali & Oliverio; Gosliner, Muniain; Calado & Urgorri; Schrodl).

The editors of this issue were Riccardo Cattaneo-Vietti and myself. You can find a photo of the cover of that volume, and more details of that Workshop, as well as, photos of the different activities during those days at: http://www.vannarotolo.it/WORKSHOP/index.htm

Many of the contributors saw their contributions published for the first time during the World Congress of Malacology, held last week in Vienna, in which a good number of "branchers" met to exchange ideas and reinforce collaborations.
Cheers.
Lucas.
